If we had signed three star players the last four years instead of Brice oku nuke sentimore etc and they had stayed on the team would we have been better off?

Just talking this specific case.

I'm with the op here.

It's important to sign kids who want to be here.

We already lost the majority of the defensive talent from Dooley's last class.

We need kids who want to be Vols.

With that said though, I think this staff signs a big class this year.

What side is the OP on here?

I think we all can agree to that.

I don't know the specifics on that.

I think we all knew that all ready.

With all that said, I have no idea if the staff will sign a big class this year.

And with all of that said, why are we spacing each sentence out like a new paragraph?

I feel that every complete thought I have is important enough to stand alone, as its own paragraph.

But what do you mean you don't know the specifics of losing most of the talent from that last class? We lost Taylor, Bonner, and Phillips. All three of which were highly ranked players.

The only guys left on d to be excited about are McNeil, Lewis, and O'brien.

are you really asking would things have been different if tennessee signed players other than those who accomplished nothing?

On top of all that, I have wondered what would have happened had Fulmer had an AD that would have lit a fire under his arse and got him motivated again....I have wondered had he stayed would the Vols be better off than they are now....I want to note that I was all for Fulmer being let go....Just thinking out loud....

i agree recurit playes who love ut and want to be here and give it there all and earn there spots not a bunch of 5 stars who think the sun risies on them

Que Watson, Trent Taylor, Darrington Sentimore (though he was a 4 coming out of high school, was just a 3 star coming out of juco), Mike Edwards, Montori Hughes, and others say that attrition is not solely related to ranking. It is more of just a general college student thing instead of a highly rated player thing.
