12 assists to 15 turnovers.

Kentucky's length and defensive ability was too much for UT to handle.

* Moment that changed the game- Golden jacking up a 28 footer with about 25 seconds left on the shot clock. That was the biggest turning point of the game.

I don't know that it was quite that big, but it definitely was not a good decision.

Difference in the game was UT's inability to get to the line in the second half. UT was up 6 points at half and lost by 3 so they lost the 2nd half by 9. UK made 11 FTs in the second half, UT made 2 of 3. There are your 9 points.

Ball-handling is poor, rebounding is inconsistent. Defense is pretty stout. Just a young team doing stupid things. I'm excited about next year.

Is it just me or did we miss a ton of layups? It's a completely different outcome if we make a couple of the easy ones.

I'm not talking about the blocks, just the complete miss. A blocked shot is understandable but there were plenty of missed layups.

It's hard to make anything against UK. We had to fight for those shots. It was unacceptable, though.

no it was Golden,he thinks when the game is close he wants to be the hero.

I was thinking about the 2 stupid shots Tatum threw up at the end of the game. My bad.

If I'm not mistaken (which I may be wrong) but I think it lead to a Ky 3.. So it was a a 6 point swing.

You are correct. Terrible turn and I mentioned an asterisk at that point.

The game turned and it never came back.

And you get more TO's than assists when you don't have a pg to handle the ball and penetrate draw the D.

That really didn't bother me as much because he's shown the ability to hit the shot. He hit two in a row vs. Miss. St. if I'm not mistaken.

Not the greatest decision -- but he was open - he is a shooter - Cam passed up a couple where he was open. That is the problem with 3's -- blessing and a curse.

Actually there were three 3's in a row missed. Two by Woolridge and one by Golden. There were both open, didn't have a problem with any of them. Sure is easy to say these were horrible decisions now. You guys are geniuses. That is Golden's spot at he top of the key, just didn't work out.

He's not a consistent enough shooter to be considered one and it was a bad shot on a key possession. Mainly because there was no movement. An early open shot off of penetration or within the offense is one thing. Dribbling and pulling up from 25 when you haven't hit anything all day is a bad decision.

1. i said we needed to keep the turnovers under 10 to have a chance we had 15 just a few too many at some critical points of the game.

2. the drought we endured during the 2nd half of the game in which we went from the lead to trailing in about 5 minutes really did us in. you cant play from behind against uk it is just too hard to do with their talent.

3. they absolutely destroyed us on the boards in the second half, no excuse for that.

Back-to-back-to-back missed wide open 3's, two from Woolridge and one from McBee. None of those shots were necessary.

I didn't have a problem with those they are wide open shots that both players are capable of hitting. If they made it were talking about great shots.

Well also having Anthony Davis down low really makes it difficult to score at the rim. That guy is a game changer I would say he altered or blocked atleast 10 potential points if not more in this game.
