Stat that changed the game...

You are correct. Terrible turn and I mentioned an asterisk at that point.

The game turned and it never came back.

And you get more TO's than assists when you don't have a pg to handle the ball and penetrate draw the D.

Yeah, Golden bombing a long 3 (too long IMO) led to the biggest shot of the game, which was Kidd-Gilchrist's virtually uncontested 3 on the other end courtesy of Tatum not getting out on him defensively

12 assists to 15 turnovers.

Kentucky's length and defensive ability was too much for UT to handle.

I agree. We have no one on the perimeter who can penetrate and finish at the rim. We have a bunch of average shooters who can't drive to keep defenses honest and draw people away from our post players. UKs length at every position was difficult for us to match up against.

He's not a consistent enough shooter to be considered one and it was a bad shot on a key possession. Mainly because there was no movement. An early open shot off of penetration or within the offense is one thing. Dribbling and pulling up from 25 when you haven't hit anything all day is a bad decision.

I heard he was shooting around 40 something percent from 3's...thats consistent.

Well also having Anthony Davis down low really makes it difficult to score at the rim. That guy is a game changer I would say he altered or blocked atleast 10 potential points if not more in this game.

Great guy to have. And can handle the ball pretty well.

Yes he is a 40% 3 pt shooter, with that said probably not the shot you want as you can get that shot anytime in the clock, but oh well. As far as Davis that dude is a monster and if he isn't hands down the number 1 pick I'd be shocked. I think uk should feed it to him more his fg% is very high sobid reward him with a few extra touches and see how he does.

They outrebounded us 20-7 in 2nd half. That's all you need to know right there. We have no chance being dominated on the boards like that.

Pretty much!

UK is very talented but a stat like that is hard to overlook. I'm sure when Martin breaks down the game he'll come away pissed and proud of his team. Pissed that they let one get away and proud that his team is playing hard.

I know it sucks to lose to UK, but UT stood toe to toe with them for 60 minutes. A couple of more pieces and this will be a pretty good team.

Exactly, add that to disparity on ft points and you have quite the deficit right there. 15 turnovers didn't help either.

.385% and takes 4/game. That was not the time for a shot from a pg that takes one every 10 minutes of play.
