Doesn't matter. Still a great recruiting tool. Let's see, come play in an NBA arena, see Chris Paul and all the NBA stars, and get to meet them. Or you can play in an oversized barn in Knox-patch. Which would an inner city BB player prefer?

That over sized barn is typically filled to its capacity. Plus, I think our players enjoy being able to go to their practice facility anytime they want.

Dude, you a joke. The barn has been fourth in attendance the last two years, while the tigers ranked 10th. Futhermore, that NBA arena may be empty in a few years. The grizzlies can't draw 8,000.

To say that the Memphis Grizzlies are a disgrace to the NBA is an understatement. They've made no attempt to assimilate in the Tennessee sporting scene, and FedEx Forum will be empty in a few years the way things are going.

BTW, the "oversized barn" in Knoxville, has about the same quality as a basketball venue as most NBA teams do.

Not really.

As far as the court and seating area I would say it's at least better looking than the Verizon Center in D.C. I was not very impressed to be honest.

Now the area (Chinatown) it was in was obviously much better and having a mall and movie theater connected was impressive.

But as far as the game experience and being in the seating area and atmosphere I'd put TBA right there.

FWIW I understand a playoff game would be much different.

TBA has more seats than FEF so of course the attendance is going to be higher. Just curious, what have attendance records looked like for say the last 20 years?

Then you ought to check out U of M Law School. The last 10 years it's grads have passed the TN bar at a higher rate than UT or Vandy Law grads on the first try.

Do you really want to bring up the attendance during the Tic Price/Johnnie Jones Era?

Memphis BA. U of M is actually harder to get into than a few SEC schools. While UT is a good school, it is still a state school just like Memphis. I know you think that you are the same as the real UT, Michigan, and UNC, but your not even close.

Which lets them start being peon associates for those of us who graduated UT Law even sooner.

You're not even UT-Chattanooga.

Those were rough years. Since early 80s, discounting Tic/Johnnie years, Tigers pretty much filled the houses they played in.
I attended plenty of games at the end of Finch's tenure. The place was only close to full if Louisville or Cincinnati was in town.
