A lot of whining about Worley but he played well second half

Worley must play a lot better next two weeks. I'm pulling for him but better teams will stack the box and force him to beat them. Either he gets better or the o line and running game must be unstoppable.

I see you settle for mediocrity. Worley is HORRIBLE. He cannot throw the deep ball AT ALL, his timing is off 90% of the time. He's had 4 sure fire td's missed because he can't throw the ball(underthrown twice to North, underthrown to Johnson today-there wasnt a guy within 5 yds of him. All he had to do was fling it in the endzone but he could only get it to the 5???), and three ft behind a guy last game when all he had to do was hit him in stride near the goal line). And then that int he threw today. That's a jr. high throw. Dude is tuuuurrible.

None of the other are better that He is. So sense you have all this knowledge what do we do.

Hey, they did win ....yet another Nega vol has to be upset with something. Peyton Manning left Tennessee many years ago not everyone can be a Manning....Give the coaching team a chance and see what happens. Timing will be off with new WR and coaching schemes.

I don't need to see a manning. I'd settle for an A.J. Suggs. Worley is the worst qb that I've seen starting at tennessee in memory ( going back to around 1990). Can't run, weak arm, no accuracy. I hope one of the freshmen figure this offense out soon.

People like to blast a quarterback that has hardly had any playing time the last two years. Give the kid a chance. How can he expect to be very good when he has had no playing time.

All those things you complain about happened in the first half, with the exception of the int.

In the second half, by the numbers, Worley was 8/10 for 107 after going 3/9 for 35 in the first half. That's a CONSIDERABLE improvement, not just an improvement. There is hope for the kid if he can continue to improve.

I get so sick of hearing "settling for mediocrity". Newsflash Einstein, we were not "mediocre" last year. We SUCKED. We were flat out "turible" to use your term. Horrible, awful, miserable, sucky, whatever.

Mediocre at this point is an improvement. Eight wins would be a big step up from last year, even including a bowl win.

As for Worley...what we have someone better? Peterman looked worse than Worley last week. Worley might get better, might not, but if we had a Petyon Manning on the bench he'd be playing.

We will see as the season goes on...Worley still has a few weeks to prove he can get it done. If he is as bad as you and others seem to think, the coaches will pull him.

But forgive me if I trust them, and not you, to know when to do that. :shakehead:

Your amnesia is convenient with regards to the Matt Simms era. I envy you for that.
