Status of the Politics Forum -- MUST READ

Is there any way to ignore an entire forum? I would love to never have to look at this forum again.

Thanks for the comments guys, you're real clever, but I was asking an honest question. The politics threads always get in the way when I search new posts. It's a pain in the posterior. Discussing politics here is pointless.

When you click New Posts, threads from the Politics forum are clearly labeled. Don't click on them.

DUDE, what I am saying is that they keep me from viewing threads that I may actually be interested in. I'm guessing none of you take advantage of the "ignore thread" feature for threads that you don't want to view?

All I'm asking if there is a way to ignore a forum so that that forum's threads don't show up when you click "new posts." A yes or no will suffice.

I already asked. At this time there isn't a way to do that. (And I wanted to ignore it for a similar reason as you....I'm here to read and discuss football, and little bit of socializing. Politics Forum threads overwhelm the place sometimes.)

Thank you so much for the serious response, VollyGirl. I guess I just have to keep ignoring threads though that's a hassle in and of itself.

You spend enormous amounts of bandwidth in the Recruiting / Jr High Forum and you're concerned with Politics threads getting in the way? That makes perfect sense.
