I especially like Lee Corso saying that Cal could still play for the National Championship. What exactly does it take for him to admit that he was just plain wrong? Got to be the most idiotic I've ever heard him sound. And THAT'S saying a lot.
Well if you look at their schedule he may be right...the pac 10 is horrendous.

There was one linebacker in particular that said the Vols weren't that quick, etc.

Also Lynch felt that he played WELL. :wacko: I don't remember the rest of the quotes.
The Cal players weren't watching the same game I was .

He had a run of about 20 yards in the 4th quarter - otherwise he was completely ineffective.
If you exclude that run, he averaged about 4.5-5 yards per carry. That's still productive. Hard to be effective when your genius head coach decides to put the game in Nate Longshore/Joe Ayoob's oh so capable hands.

He also had a horrible attempt at a "block" on Mayo's second sack... just whiffed him.

"Playing well" has more to do with than just your rushing average. :crazy:
