Steelers Coach Tomlin says of Butch Jones

To be fair, he probably said the same thing about Lane when they were out getting drunk together.

Was that the same night he wrecked his leaser, or was that another night of debauchery?

Pretty good compliment!

On Twitter Steelers' Coach Mike Tomlin talking about CBJ at Tennessee Pro Day said that "he wouldn't hesitate having his sons play for Jones."

Coach Jones will get things turned around! It just might take 2 or 3 years!

I hate the Steelers, but I love Mike Tomlin.

Me too kinda. Don't really hate the Steelers, don't care enough about em. But I do think Tomlin is about as good as they come. Love the way the guy carries himself. One of the best.

I heard that Gregory House M.D. has had some pretty nice things to say about Tomlin as well, so we can trust his opinion.:)

Saban considers Dooley a good friend, and sure he doesn't consdier just anyone that. For u link guys: don't have one but he said it in an interview and wasn't asked a direct question about dooley but named him. Jason Garrett told me directly that dooley would do well if given the time. While he was wearing a UT workout jacket while having lunch with his wife.

Not saying what tomlin said isn't good but acting as if its world changing especially knowing how Tomlin and Kif are/were friends the comments even themselves out. just imo that's all...

Kif? You mean the last UT head coach to finish a season with a winning record?

This thread has absolutely nothing to do with Derek Dooley, Nick Saban, Jason Garrett or even Jason Garrett's wife, though I'm sure she's quite lovely.

OP started this thread because a very well respected NFL and Superbowl winning coach made a nice comment about the University of Tennessee's current football coach. Nobody's attaching any more importance to this than it deserves. It was appreciated on behalf of our coach from the portion of the fan base who respects his hiring. Nothing more, nothing less.

Btw, video or audio of your discussion with Garrett or it didn't happen ☺😳
