Stetson Bennett….

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. The point I tried to make was that the Heisman Trophy winner epitomizes great ability (stats) combined with diligence, perseverance, and hard work (heart). One part is measurable. The other, much more open to interpretation. .
Had SB been the QB at Bama or OSU or Michigan, would he have been invited to the Heisman ceremony? No, he would not. He's not an elite QB. The ONLY reason he is in the conversation is because he's the UGA QB. He wasn't even the offensive player of the year in his conference!

Im sure you realize the Heisman voters are not the same ones who vote for conference player of the year.

Yeah, I do. And I also think that he people who vote for the conference player of the year know more about those candidates than the people who vote for the Heisman. So, the people who know the two QB's the best selected Hooker over Bennett, meaning the national voters got it wrong. FWIW, IMO, the best QB I saw this year was Young. Bennett was not even close. Hooker was. Bennett is the Gary Beban/Gino Torretta of this decade (two good, not great, QB's who won the Heisman ONLY because they were on the best teams).

he only passed for 320 yards in the all the 4th qtrs all season, don’t let the stats fool you. His stats are better than any qb in the country vs. ranked teams. uga took the air out of it, hooker should be there but to say a kid who qb only 1 loss over 2 years shouldn’t be there is crazy.

Nice to hear from you Jake Fromm

UGA wins in spite of Bennett. He's their weakest starting player on the field.
