Do you think we really need a guy with a rap sheet like that? He got Michigan in a world of NCAA trouble with the Fab Five.

We now have NCAA troubles of our own.

We need a straight shooter.

Fischer was never found guilty of any NCAA violations. He was the scapegoat of the Ed Martin scandal at UM. Michigan's main punishment was a self-imposed ex-communication of 4 players.

meatchicken chose the "denydenydeny" defense with tNCAA. They were found guilty, but there was not enough proof to bring the full ban hammer down on them. They refused to talk and tNCAA did not hold the power to make them talk.

The feds were in heavy on this after Ed Martins gambling ring was discovered, but when Martin DIED SUDDENLY just as the trial was about to begin, it was all dropped. (you cannot prosecute the a dead man)

EDIT: Steve Fisher is a freaking CROOK. Pearl made stupid mistakes. Fish is a low life, scumball crook.
