Steve McNair found, shot to death

I was thinking that too. I wonder if he had any realtionship with her, or she was just a random person...But the random person deal doesn't sound likely. I agree with you Birmingham.

If I was the cops, the first person I would look at in terms of the shooter would be a jealous boyfriend.

Plaxico carrying a handgun (for protection) suddenly doesn't look so stupid, does it? I can see some sort of fine and probabtion, but I think people can now see just how dangerous it is for players to be in public.
I'm just stunned...

Whoever did this needs to get the Guantanamo Bay treatment and hung by their feet.

I agree. Catch and fry the SOB that did this

Channel 4 is reporting they took someone away in a police cruiser, not sure if it was a witness or someone involved as they are reporting it..

Apperantly it was just visitors in the condos and they took them in to see if they may have heard or saw anything......

They would have known who it was if it had been his wife.. They are reporting that it was his condo...

Plaster on WGFX is reporting that the police were tipped off at 1:30 am and multiple cartidges were found on the scene.

Exactly. I'd think they wouldn't have to notify "next of kin" if it was his wife... so it's not looking good. Not that it'd be any better if it was his wife there dead with him, but still.

Now there saying that the female is a girl named Jennie that worked at Dave and Buster's at Opryland that McNair was having a relationship with. FWIW.

RIP Mac. Gosh. McNair was a hero to me. I will never forget the Giants game his MVP year where he came out - hobbled, without a minute of practice that week and led us on the field like no one but Steve could, to a victory. I met Steve once and he was the nicest guy. He always had time for his fans and didn't mind talking football with you. I think about his kids and how young he was and it's just so tragic. He was the first Sports Hero here in Nashville and he will always be the best in my mind. Such a tragic day.

That will be a my memory of McNair, always played no matter what condition he was in.

Edit: How about the time he broke his chest and was sewn up with chicken wire.

I remember that game as well (He ran in a two point conversion to send the game to overtime if I recall correctly), but it was in 2002 while his MVP season was the following year in 2003.

I stand corrected. Well, he had a year that year deserving of an MVP anyway. He was a true superman and one in a million. I feel blessed that I was able to see him play so many times. No one who knows him has ever had a bad thing to say about him and he went out of his way to help people. Even when he was in Baltimore he would come down and play in the Jeff Fisher celebrity charity softball game and he would always get the loudest applause. Nashville loved you, Steve and we will never forget.

I have a McNair probowl jersey from his MVP year. I'll treasure it always.
