Yanking Garcia in the regular season auburn game may have cost them that game. Shaw was a deer in the headlights. I don't think USCjr wins this game big.

Garcia is a complete idiot, but why does Spurrier screw with every QB he has? Remember when was rotating QBs every other play?

Agree 100% about the Auburn game, but Spurrier said a bit of the reason for yanking him had to do with him sustaining a head injury.

"Spurrier said Garcia would play the second quarter against the Pirates and then decide who would see the most playing time in the second half."

It's to allow for Garcia's required hangover shake off period people.

Don't buy it. Seems like a motivation tactic. Would expect Garcia to win the job back for Georgia.

I agree. CSS said that Garcia will play the second quarter, then he will decide during halftime who will lead out. I think CSS is playing mind games. :loco:

I'm confused as to how Spurrier is (was?) a good coach doing things like this, it just doesn't make sense.

Spurrier being Spurrier. At some point Garcia will play and probably before Georgia. Musical QB's can screw a team and year up, have at it boys.
