Yeah, I saw a clip somewhere that showed the impact with the lap car. I think that's prob what caused the break, not the actual flip. Tried to find it but couldn't.

Yeah that video that was posted wasn't the best angle to see the wreck but from the video it didn't look that bad.

Look at Dale's wreck. Looked like nothing. Like Stewart said last week, if it's meant to be, it's meant to be.

I'm just glad that Smoke is ok. Much respect to him. One of the great ambassadors of NASCAR.

He'll be back for Daytona, I'm sure.

There is a radio show here in Chattanooga called Valvoline Racing Radio and it comes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I listen to it when I am in the car. They are a bad show but yesterday they were giving TS hell about breaking his leg while running in something other than Sprint Cup. They were saying that he let down his sponors and his fans. It was a very interesting take on what happened but I can't say I agree with the two hosts.

They also talked about how this might lead to changes in contracts for the drivers. They were saying they think there will be clauses put into the contracts stating the drivers cannot drive anything other than what they are contracted to drive. I understand why they would start to do this but I think it's a little much. If they start to do this I think it will hurt some of the smaller tracks that make money from those big drivers showing up and racing.
