Getting up at 4am to shoot jumpers and work on post moves does very little for actual conditioning. I am sure that he does to some sort of conditioning but not like he would be had he been in a program for the whole off-season like the rest of the team. With that said, he is an 18 year old kid with a great work ethic i have no doubts he is doing everything he can with the training staff to get into shape as quickly as possible. I would look for his first games to be quick spurts, here and there and slowly building his minutes up. I dont know if he will win a starting spot by the end of the year, but it may not be a bad thing having him come off the bench as a legitimate scoring option. Either way, i look for him to be an absolute monster next year after he has a full off-season with coach martin and the staff. There is even a strong possibility he could grow another 2" in the off-season seeing as how he is only 18, and wears a size 20 shoe.
