Wake Forest? What do you really, really think WF would do in the SEC? They would probably be the least talented team in the conference. They wouldn't be upper half or sniff a division title.

A team that doesn't have top talent in the SEC will not compete and especially not with the consistency that Vol fans expect.

A new guy might be great for recruiting... but have no doubt. UT has absolutely no room for error when it comes to recruiting and especially out of state recruiting.

Butch Davis and a few others that have been mentioned would probably do well and might even enhance recruiting.

Lane Kiffin or someone like that would need to keep at least a good portion of the current staff for continuation in recruiting but could also be a boon. That would be fine with me. I still have faith that Clawson may make a very good OC and eventually HC (if not UT then elsewhere).

Chavis needs to go though.

yeah, they are also the least talented team in the ACC.. according per rivals and scout..
and there also #1 in the ACC standings so far..

thanks for bringing out my point..

if we could develop talent as good as they do , we'd be able to compete with Florida..
Wake is a perfect example of bringing out the most of the players..

I checked the Penn State boards and no mention that he was even in attendance. I would not doubt it unfortunately. Nunes, Stokes, and Giles were the rocks of the class as far as recruiting for UT. I hope we can keep Stokes and Giles.

were keepin giles i talk to him everyday hes with us no way hes decommitting he told me he cant wait to get to tn in jan
