Excellent college player but at 6'6"and without explosive leaping ability I doubt he would be a #1 pick in this or any draft. He should stay.

Now that is an informed, well thought-out, insightful post. Please post more often.

I think Stokes is looking at players like Demaryius Thomas who didn't play football until late. Jimmy Graham played basketball and Tony Gonzalez played basketball. If he can make the transition there is probably a better financial future for him in the NFL.

Looking forward to Stokes and an athletic 4 beside him. No knock on Maymon.

I realize that's his height on the roster, but I seriously doubt he's that tall.

He's been measured without shoes at 6'7 ish with the U19 US national team. If he's 6'6 then Jordy is 6'4 and Jordy has been measured at two different NBA camps this summer at 6'5 without shoes.

I hope you're right, but when they huddle up it looks like Stokes, Maymon, McRae, and Richardson are all within an inch or 2 of each other. Whatever his height, he plays big and I'm glad he's a VOL!

It would be much more costly to double off of Cofer than it is with Maymon. Stokes will be able to throw the ball near the rim once Cofer's guy doubles and Cofer can just go up and get it. And finish with authority.

People did assume that Stokes did not like Martin and that is far from the truth. Stokes considers Martin as a mentor and a father figure. Also Martin has been personally helping Stokes develop better footwork and also working with him on his mid range game.

I think that Stokes will benefit by coming back next year for his Sr. year. If I had to put a number on it I would say that there is about a 70% chance that Stokes returns next year.
How do u know what he feels about Zo?

I'm confused about all the instant expectations for a HS recruit that led his team to an 18-10 record? Hard to imagine Cofer's not really raw and will take some time to develop. If he was an SEC power forward ready man beast, then he should have dominated at the HS level. Give him time before asking too much, he has great UT athletic genes.

What expectations? I mentioned one thing that he does really well and how to would impact the game. He is certainly raw in a number of areas.

He did dominate at the HS level, it's hard as a forward to make a bad HS team dominant though.
