OMG... not even close! Hahahahahahaha!!! He has one of the best hook shots over either shoulder I have seen at the collegiate level in years!!! PP as a Sr didn't have near the post game Jarnell has as a Fr IMO. Both players had a good mid-range game, but the comparisons end there IMO.

He clearly doesn't understand NBA DRAFTS almost entirely on potential. That's why guys like Drummond who average 10 and 7 will go #2 but guys who average 25 like McDermott may not even go first round.

It has almost nothing to do with your college numbers and everything to do with potential. As I've already mentioned enes kanter didn't play 1 college gane and went top 10.

Your watching a HS senior and comparing him to Tobias as a freshman.

I'll make this simple, if jarnell was eligible he'd go first round this year. NBA drafts on potential, that's why a guy like Andre Drummond who's averaging pretty close to what jarnell does is projected as the #2 pick

He is one year younger than Tobias? He will not be the player Tobias was in one year. Thats not bad, maybe it keeps him here for several years.

Just haven't seen anything that says lottery pick? Tobias was much more polished player.

Though it pains me to pause from my gif rage, you are aware he should be a senior in HS, right?? He couldnt leave after this year even if he wanted to so he doesnt have to worry about looking like a lotto pick right now. Also, he and Tobias are totally different players.

Tobias also wasn't 6'9" 270 lbs. you're missing the fact the NBA drafts off of potential my friend.

As you failed to address Andre Drummond averages almost the same as stokes does but is projected to go as the #2 pick. Why? POTENTIAL!

Enes kanter dish play 1 college game last year yet got drafted from KY as a top 5 pick. Why? POTENTIAL!

And you keep comparing him to Tobias, these are 2 completely different players. Tobias liked to play mid range an face up, also step out for a 3. Stokes wants to play back to the basket and pound away at the defense, you literally are comparing apples and oranges here.

As I said very simple, NBA drafts in potential, something STOKES HAS A TON OF!

So he leaves next year? Is that what you are saying?

Next year is year 2 he either leaves next year or year 3. The only way he stays is either injury(please no), or by his own choice to want to win a chsmpionship(please yes). You can bet though that starting next year when he's eligible for the draft he will be a first round projected pick.

Basically very simple, if he's here for 4 years it won't be because he wasn't good enough to be drafted 1st round.

Yes... That is precisely what we are saying...

And btw, the hook shot is a valued commodity in todays game. Not many people have it in their arsenal, and those that do are virtually indefensible. Ask Dwight Howard how it works for him.
