Haha, how about "flu like" is that acceptable, hahaha. You guys are a hoot!
I get it. You were right.

. . . But you seem to be hung up on me somehow calling you out, and I never even slightly did.

No need to go full on jackass on me.

I'm not doubting your story. I heard the report too. Just pointing out that people with temps of 106 end up hospitalized much less playing basketball the next day. I dont doubt that hes very sick, but i think the number has to be inflated.

Well he is a beast.

Bs on 106. I don't care who says it. He would have convulsed, blacked out, passed out, and/or vomited and lost his bowels.

The science equipment at UT is so old that I wouldn't doubt there was a thermometer that read 106. It is very improbable that his temperature was that high though.

No offense to you book smart people and "googlers" but I've had a temp of 106 two different times and I didn't die, black out, or hurt in any way (besides the flu symptoms I was having). I did however have to go to the hospital but it was treated and I left pretty quick so yeah...its possible?

Ridiculous to slam the OP. Thanks for posting the info you heard man. Some of us appreciate it.

I just don't buy it.

I had a fever of 104.9 once and was so light headed and dizzy that I could hardly walk.

I agree with that. I just figured the temp was a couple of days ago or something and got better. I know when my temp got that high, no way I could dribble a basketball or even tie my shoes (not even size 20's haha) No way he had a 106 temp yesterday or this morning unless he had an amazing recovery because if you have the flu that bad, it surely aint going away that quick.

Yeah if it were a few days ago I could possibly buy it, but if it were yesterday I just don't see it. But we way not be the stud Stokes is lol.

What can you say about Jarnell? He's the difference.

The flu can suck it.
