Florida has 18 bowl appearances from 1953 until 1988 and Kentucky has 7. Please explain how Florida doesn't have better history and or tradition. You're an idiot.

So, Spurrier took a good football tradtion and made them great. Kentucky has poor tradtion and you're looking for a coach to take them to average.

Actually, you are the one who was comparing the history of Fla and UK, not me. I simply stated the fact that Fla was Mediocre at best before Spurrier. Not taking anything away from Spurrier bc he changed Fla and the SEC.

One would gather that having a 'GOOD' football tradition should include at least ONE championship. There is a reason UGA had a 30 game lead in the series before Spurrier, it's because Fla wasn't any good.

Time will tell, but his defense kicked ass last year at FSU.

Leaving Tallahassee and the FSU defense for the Mildcats is a down grade and career suicide!! You can't make chicken salad out of chicken ****..... Just sayin

Hard for me to say they weren't any good if they had a decent bowl history. Don't exaggerate to prove your points. Your bowl record is no good. Florida's was average. I rescinded my good statement a while back, but you can't read apparently. Auburn went to only 4 more bowls than did Florida up until 1988. I don't think their history was bad as you moronically have stated. Lets face it, the other stoops will have to prove that he can not only coach, but turn turds into golden nuggets. You stated if Spurrier could do it so could the no name stooooooooooooops. The problem is Florida was and never has been Kentucky bad. You guys RAN OFF THE BEAR!!!! For that you will always be cursed.

Gat dang it, its so cute when you guys try and do football things

Right, because your 1-7 record in the SEC and blow out loss to Vandy shines like a beacon of light compared to our record in the SEC last year.

I would definitely be sticking my chest out and crowing with wins over juggernauts like Georgia State, Akron and Troy.

Who was that one win in the SEC?

Who is 'your' team? I'm not a UK fan and apparently I am not the one who can't read. I haven't mentioned UK ONCE in this thread nor have I said a word about STOOPS ever so you are just lying. Once again, you are comparing UK vs UF, not me. I just stated the facts that UF was never more than mediocre. At least auburn won with some guy named Shug Jordan.

Sorry if the fact that fla wasn't good hurts your feelings. Not quite sure why you have to call someone an idiot and moron because none of my statements are either. Yet you try to justify by talking about UK and Auburn??? All I basically said was UF was an afterthought in college football before Spurrier and that is just simply the truth.

Ut fans will be doing the same exact thing. Don't see why people think it's funny to see massive support a new coach.

We think it's funny because Kentucky fans come to a Tennessee site to tell us about it.

What would you think if a Tennessee fan came to your Kentucky forum to tell you about tickets sold for our spring game? Bet you wouldn't care and neither do we.

Cue the response "It's the NCAA forum". Yes, it is, but you still came to a Tennessee site just to tell us about your spring game sales. No Tennessee fan would have even noticed or bothered with a thread. It's something only Kentucky fans care about. Even then, most Kentucky fans probably don't either because football is foreign in the land of Kentucky.

You still didn't address the fact that I said they were average. By me stating they were average, I am acknowledging that they were were an after thought. I just said they weren't as bad as somebody posted earlier said they were. They were not Kentucky bad. I think we are saying the same thing. I just thought you were the guy telling me Florida and Kentucky had the same tradition before Spurrier got to UF (which isn't true).

I cant remember how this argument started, but comparing UF and UK situation is asinine. UF is in Florida, a hotbed of talent. UK is in Kentucky, a hot mess of crap.

Yes, because we forced you to click on the thread. :hmm:
