He's just towing the company line.

We've discussed it a ton here on the radio, and social media.

He's wrong, bitter, and stuck in a hell hole.

but we've been led to believe he coaches at UK. Why knock your own conference?

He's only saying that because he knows he gets to play us in 2014 and 2015. If he played an SEC team that wasn't currently down, he's be ****ting his britches about now. He's probably still nervous.

I know Tennessee was terrible last year, but am I really far off in thinking that if TN had played in the same league as Oklahoma that they would've either won it or finished in the top 2/3?

Nah, Dooley would have found a way to lose against those teams too.

Sour grapes.

He knows that he would never put money on a SEC vs BIG 12 shootout; 1v1, 2v2, 3v3,...

Way off. That Dooley coached team would have had trouble winning the MAC.

So you guys think barely losing to georgia, USCe, and beating up on Florida for 3 quarters isn't worth 4 wins in the big whatever they are to be called now?

you guys are crazy.

Letting the dooley hate blind you to a terrible conference and a prolific offense.

STOOOOPS....

;)

Seriously, I agree with most of the peeps here but don't forget that A&M came in and shook things up pretty well this past year.

I think it depends on whether Dooley was doing a good job of throwing & catching passes to himself against those teams. And if he blocked & tackled well he (Dooley) may have had a good chance to beat some of those teams too. You never know how these games will turn out, that's why you play the game.

Lets rephrase that, Johnny Football shook things up a bit. Without him they are with "everyone else" in finishing 7-last.

Well he didn't even have to step on the field to lose the Missouri game for us last year. To all those who want to take blame away from Dooley and put it solely on the players, you need to realize that the HC is responsible for getting the players prepared to play the game. And the HC is 100% responsible for play-calling/scheming, which is what caused us to lose most of the games we lost last year.

Ya, I was just playing devil's advocate there.

I didn't know the Cotton Bowl has been so completely one-sided. I hadn't bothered to look it up. And, the Big 12's lone win in the past 10 years was by a team that is now in the SEC. You could therefore say that current SEC teams have won the past 10.

When I measure Oklahoma and Alabama these days, I'm thinking Notre Dame. But hey, I'm just a simple caveman.
