Stormy Daniels sues Trump

It is set that way on purpose....no use for people typing every thing they post in caps.
I agree, makes them look like a cartoonish buffoon.

Good God Trump-town. Are you so dense that you cannot accept that I was on the same page as your rational. :eek:k:

Yuuuup.....I am the dense one alright....fact is not "rational"....a simple "ok, thanks" would have been the "rational" response.....

For the 51351156126133 time, we knew what we were getting with the President, we never thought he was a choir boy.

I laugh when anyone brings up Trump and Stormy or any other woman he may have plugged. Did ANYONE in their right mind think this guy was a choirboy?
Anyone naive enough to think he wasn't boinking women left and right probably shouldn't be allowed to vote.
Can you imagine the sexual escapades we'd see if the curtain was pulled back in D.C.?

I, for one, knew he was a lying, narcissistic scumbag. Of course, that's why I didn't vote for him.

I was having fun dragging the libs along while they demanded “admit it! Admit this is true! And you condone it!” In fact I think we’ll get more troll miles out of this pass than the initial disclosure. Good times.

The Cohen-Trump tape is interesting. Question 1 is whether it raises any legal issues. I've heard various commentators on this. In addition to the campaign finance issues, the most remarkable theory I've heard so far is that the two discuss setting up a company and financing it to pay off the magazine that had bought the story. If this involved lying to a bank about the purpose of any financing, then that could create legal liability.

I am not familiar with what must be shown to demonstrate a crime on these points, and so really have no opinion on it. It is interesting however.

The second question is whether this is going to have any political consequence for Trump. I really do not think so. The context of the audio certainly suggests that Trump was aware of what was going on and the discussion was about how they achieve the goal of putting the kibosh on the story. This directly contradicts Trump's prior statements that he knew nothing of it.

But, honestly, proof of Trump lying has become an every day thing. The Republican party, by and large, has made the decision to accept his very poor character and his lying. This is just another example of it. If it hurts him at all, it is with the never Trump part of the GOP that may one day turn out to vote against him in a primary. That seems unlikely. So I just don't think it matters politically.

Final point is that I do wonder if this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to these tapes. Trump sure does seem to be going out of his way today to bash Cohen and to discredit him. Its as though he suspects that far worse is just on the horizon. Others are hinting that to be the case.

Time will tell.

"Just stick with us. Don’t believe the crap you see from these people — the fake news."

Said right before the release of the first tape. Don't believe my own words people!

At this point, he might as well have said "yeah, I lied. I lie all the time. So the f what? No one cares.".

With Trump I don't know if it is so much he's lying all the time as much as it is probably he just doesn't know ****.

I said during the election I wouldn't vote for Hillary because she can't tell the truth, and I wouldn't vote for Trump because he doesn't know the difference.

With Hillary and Trump being the party candidates, it's clear that honesty, competency, and maturity are not qualities the American electorate give one hoot about.

Hard to argue with that.
