The Dooley one wasn't that strange at all, other than the result. We knew what Hamilton was doing pretty much as he did it. We knew when he got turned down. Other than a few bizarre sidebars like Tony Basilio claiming that Lovie Smith was on an airplane, it was pretty straightforward. Just maddening.
What is strange to me is: we are almost a month after Dooley firing and Hart is searching like he had no clue DD was going to be fired. To not have some sort of base coaching candidates on speed dial when the decision was made is beyond me.

What start as lofty fan expectations become a wildfire of unreasonable and delusional fan expectations when the AD refuses to comment publicly on his strategy or wtf is going on.

Hart's job is to higher a damn football coach, not talk hiring strategy with the delusional fans. For some reason people think they're entitled to know Harts every thought and move in regards to the coaching search.
