:) sounds like you had a hell of a time at the game. That's good old UofL football fans for you. Come for the beer.

More than 1 game dude. I had season tickets for many years with my dad that started in early 90s with Schnellenberger and stopped going when Petrino left and Krapthorpe (Louisville's version of Dooley) came along.

If there's one thing TJ needs to do is stop selling the alcohol at games. But I know he wont cause its easy $$$.

Yeah sucks when fans go to a game just to get wasted. I can understand a few beers but fans do get out of hand.

That's the thing. He was comparing Louisville football to Kentucky basketball. Of COURSE they take over places like the Georgia Dome ot the Superdome. Basketball is all they have. Hey cards fans anyone know how many tickets they returned for their game against us at PJCS? 1000 or so? Just saying.

On the other hand he is right about cards fans. They show up late in the 2nd quarter. Then make runs to the bathroom cause they cant hold their beer. Then come back to the seats double fisting only to stay a few minutes in their seats long enough to drink away and then makes more runs. I ended up giving my seats to my brother who partakes in that ritual too cause I was sick and tired letting people out and getting beer spilled on me and couldn't watch the damn game!

Damn, they sell beer at their games? I might have to go to a game then. That's the only way I can watch a UT game recently. You have to numb yourself to be able to tolerate the sh*tfest you are about to witness. UT would be wise to sell beer at their games.

And I was always under the impression that people that couldn't hold their beer meant it came back up instead of out. A bladder can only hold so much cheap swill.

Kentucky fans must have done a lot of traveling, because very few of them were at their football games this year.

Attendance was down 30% from 2009, 20% from 2011, and was 48.7% of capacity. CSS shouldn't have used UK football fans as any example to follow.

Announced and actual attendance for 2012 UK Football
Game.................Announced.....Actual*

Kent State................48,346........37,000
Western Kentucky.....53,980........43,174
South Carolina..........49,810........35,086
Miss State................49,498........29,927
Georgia...................54,553........33,420
Vanderbilt................44,902........18,885

This year was an anomaly. People voted with their feet and got a new coach. Prior attendance is not so bad.

Have to hand it to UK they have the most loyal fans in all of sports.

I'm gonna have to agree with Yankee here. Loyalty means showing up even when your team sucks. Ky has always had a pretty good basketball team year in and year out. It's easy to support them. Their football team usually goes from horrible to 8 wins a year. When they go 2-10 their fans only filled half the stadium at best.

Look at USCjr. They sucked for years and years and still had very good crowds over the years. Call that insanity for showing up and supporting something and getting the same result, but I'd say they were more loyal over the years.

Calling All Louisville Fans! Charlie Strong Wants #BBN Passion | Sports Heartbeat

This morning Charlie Strong was dodging coaching rumors left and right like he was Aaron Jackson in elementary school P.E. It’s pretty funny to see that Charlie doesn’t want to be at Louisville by throwing himself at any and every school in the SEC (Tennessee & Auburn). At the same time Charlie took at shot at UofL Nation by saying that he wishes that UofL fans would have the same passion of their state counterparts in Lexington…Here’s what he said,
“Kentucky can travel with the Big Blue Nation, they go take over. We should have that same passion here.”

I like your new avi .... well done. :good!:
