Pryor's also the one most likely to screw up a a game this year. Unless Pryor improves dramatically, he shouldn't win the Heisman. I'm not sure I've ever seen a QB just throw so many balls up for grabs. He's very talented, but he's not Heisman material, and he's certainly not the best player in college football.Pryor is the best player on the team and the one they can't afford to lose most.

Not the same situation at all. All the finalists in recent memory have played considerably better than Pryor has. I didn't watch Eric Crouch play, but he may be an exception to that. Pryor completed 40 percent of his passes in the last game. That's Reggie Ball awful. If Ohio State could win out, but that's because the solid defense and lack of opponents with comparable talent. But like it was said earlier, how often is the Heisman winner really the best overall player in college football. If Pryor is playing well and OSU is in a BCS bowl or the NC he will most likely be a finalist and i wouldn't argue it.

He had a solid last drive against Miami, and a couple of nice throws to Posey. He still threw about 7 balls up for grabs and it was lucky that no one happened to be there. He screwed up the Purdue game last year, badly. I hope he doesn't do it again, but he needs to learn that sometimes it's better to take a sack then just randomly throw the ball somewhere. The Heisman is generally about rewarding one of the best known players on one of the best teams, so he could win. I'm just saying that, barring drastic improvement, he'd probably be the worst to win in the award post Crouch. He also had 200+ passing and 100+ rushing with 2 tds and no turnovers against the #12 team in the nation. There's no way that team walks into Wisconsin or Iowa and wins with Joe Bauserman instead of Pryor. It's only 2 games into the season and i admit he needs to improve I just don't think it's as drastic as you do. He has played well so maybe he can keep it up.

As far as the bold, I'd agree that he could turn things around and do well. I was just saying his performance the last two games doesn't really scream 'Most Outstanding Player.' I didn't watch Crouch or Palmer much, so I'll reserve judgment on those two.He did screw up Purdue, but the Oline was awful that game as well. If he does win it I don't think he would be a bad pick because for all we know he could play lights out the rest of the season. Also Crouch was very deserving of his Heisman, Palmer on the other hand wasn't IMO.

Ted Ginn can fly as well. It would be closer than what you think IMO.
