I'm seriously thinking of looking at a Ridgeline if I ever get a gig closer to home. My uncle had one that I loved. Like you said, ridiculously versatile.

Haven't heard a B2300 mentioned in a while! We had one Dad was given, saying the motor was bad since it smoked like a freight train. I forget now what was wrong (it was something incredibly minor), but we ended up putting 25k more miles on the 'bad' motor.

I'm on my second Ridgeline. One downside to them though is that there isn't a ton of aftermarket mods available in comparison to other trucks. (I know its not really a truck)

I've had my Ridgeline Sport since January. Best truck I've owned(I've had a 06 Colorado, a 12 Frontier Pro-4x, and a 13 Tacoma).

I don't mind automatic. Now for a sports car, a manual is a must. My Civic Si was a blast. And having a stick is a big reason I'm getting the Mustang Cobra.

I'm familiar with them plus I got screwed on the nissan I have now. The truck had been in 2 accidents and been wanting to get something with a warrenty

Mazda are good vehicles, I had a Mazda truck long ago

I wish Mazda would come out with a little truck. Give it a choice of two 4 cylinder engines. A 6 speed manual or automatic. One bed size, regular cab or extended cab, 2wd or 4x4, max tow of 2000lbs. Base model for $17,000, tops out for 27,000.

Just a good, honest, little truck.

Also let it get 32 mpg on the highway.

I think it would sell well.

I'm going to your office to play defense.

By all accounts, Mazdas are great cars. I'm not crazy about their current styling, but I've found out I'm in the minority there. I just like busting your chops when I see you ready to pounce.

I think you are in the minority with the styling. Some folks don't care for the placement of the infotainment screen on the Mazda 3. However, Mazda is playing upscale with the interiors on their cars. They are closer to the German cars like the Audi A3 and Merc cla.

Haha. Yeah, I try to be an ambassador for the brand. Often though I put the ass in ambassador.

How have you been buddy?

I agree, but I don't see them doing it.

No chance at all. It's just an idea I like to kick around with my coworker. That and a stripped out, hard core version of the Mazda 3. I'm talking no sound deadening, no stereo, no ac. Just a tuned version of our 2.5 liter engine, a 6 speed manual and some seats. A modern day integra type R.

Anyway, I encourage you to try out the Mazda 6, I think you will like the way it drives. However if the Subaru is the one you gotta have, I think you will be happy. The only knocks I have against it is the cvt transmission, and that it poaches sales from my beloved Mazda!

Subaru loses points because they insist on using CVTs. I don't care how you program a CVT to mimic a traditional automatic tranny, it's still a CVT and the engine drone you get is one of the saddest sounds in automobilia.
