Sugar Bowl: HAWAII vs. GEORGIA

They should schedule some real non-conference games if they want to be in the big ones.

Frazier, the AD, took alot of heat for this year's schedule by scheduling AA schools and only scheduling 12 games instead of the 13 allowed.

Here's their OOC games for 2008
Aug. 30th - Florida
Sept. 6th - Weber State
Sept. 13th - Oregon State
Nov. 29th - Washington State
Dec. 6th - Cincinnati

That spells T-O-A-S-T to me

A much more sensible schedule. People will get a better feel for how good the team is and where they belong in the post season.

What is the last name of this color commentator "Charles" that is a former Vol? He's a horrible commentator...

they will drop at least 3 of those.

just to add a little more insight, the 2007 schedule wasn't even finalized until late March.

I always thought scheds were done years in advance, but not in UH's case it seems.

That's Charles Davis. I actually like the guy. :p
I didn't say he's a bad person... he just shouldn't be a color commentator. :)

I've always heard that they have problems getting people scheduled. I'm kinda surprised at that, I would think that many of the western teams wouldn't mid doing a home-home with them.

I don't think their offense will see a huge dropoff with Graunke replacing Brennan. They run alot of short, quick passes and rely on YAC, which they'll only lose Rivers from their receiving corps.

They can play close with those PAC-10 teams, but I think Florida will destroy them.

They had Mich. St. scheduled for this year, but MSU cancelled and paid an undisclosed cancelling fee. I guess the travel costs are prohibitive for most teams.
