Holes weren’t opening because out pass attack was sputtering. We weren’t keeping the defense honestThe holes I saw were very small and short lived. I fear we will just have to face the situation the we will be very poor in the running game this season. As far as I am concerned, we have no running back (as I have yet seen) that even approaches average for a team to maintain balance on offense as it relates to really good teams.
Our TE's are not SEC level...I love that UT is in the conversation, but I am cautiously optimistic for no other reason than PBSD (Pre Bowl Stress Disorder). Let's play one game at a time and see where this win takes UT. I believe the Offense will make the correct adjustments for the ground game, the WRs will be more in sync with the QB and vice versa.
The run game: I am not a coach, but I did not see the OL/TDs making holes, am I wrong?
WRs: Tillman and Hyatt had a year with BH. Bru is not exactly on the same page yet, but I love it when he has the ball. What is up with the TEs?
I am loving what I am watching so far...Go Vols!
The intrepid news ferrets @ CBS project the Vols playing Baylor in the Sugar Bowl. I hope they know more than I give them credit for.
Bowl projections: Georgia, Alabama swap College Football Playoff spots as upsets benefit Tennessee, Marshall
We have never played against LSU in the Sugar Bowl, the last time we played in the Sugar Bowl was in the 1990 season when we beat Virginia.
