You think a 3 loss SEC team will host? It won’t happen. That said Idk that Texas can beat Georgia so it probably won’t matter.
I do. They are not going to reward a 2 loss SEC team that didn't play in the championship game over a 3 loss team that got that third loss from the championship. I believe the SEC and B1G runner ups will be rewarded with host spots because of how highly ranked each contender is.

I think it comes down to us vs OSU as the lowest seed to host. I think the committee will give it to Ohio State because of ******** ranked wins over PSU and Indiana (who have abysmal SOS and 0 ranked wins).

This is literally just taking the 4 team playoff and making it 12 with the same dumb process and money pulls. Ohio State, Indiana, Boise State and Notre Dame have literally zero chance to win unless they play each other
I actually think that ND is pretty good.

Would love to play a home game, but the bottom line is.If we want to play with the big dogs,we will have to be able to win on the road.

I also think if UGA blows out TX it helps us. They will have 0 top 25 wins (assuming TXA&M falls out tonight) and 2 losses just like us. That COULD help us.
This is an unfair argument about Texas SOS. If they lose, they had a ranked loss but if they win its an unranked win?

So does the committee only look at the rankings of your opponents at the end if the season when calculating strength of schedule?
Yes. If they looked at the time the game was played Georgia Tech would have a signature win over a top 10 team in 2-10 Florida State. 😂
