Super Congress?

This it seems isn't going to go over so well. 'Supercommittee' Violates Constitution

U.S. Constitution, trampling the American
commitment to “no taxation without representation.” Article 1, Sec.
7 of the Constitution says “all bills for raising revenue shall
originate in the House of Representatives.” Only the 435 members of
the House can do it.

Even more than that:

"Section 7
All bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills."

Since the bill must originate in the house, this SC has an issue, but let's pretend that they will take the bill from the SC and 'propose' it in the house first. That will satisfy the letter of the law if not the intent. However, there is no wiggle room on the second part: the senate can propose amendments on any revenue bills. That cannot be explained away.
