One thing about both these teams, who neither can I stand, you are not going to see many slappers. They are both built on strong pitching and disciplined power hitters.
I would love to have hitters who swing the bat like these ladies swing it. I really think that unless we get some recruits who can swing the bat we are not going to win many world series.

for sure--and our power (home run) number was way down. We'll see what next year brings, but need better from 5-8--a lot better.

Oklahoma certainly doesn't seem to be having any trouble hitting florida's pitching. Did Barnhill pitch last night? I can't bring myself to watch as these are two of my least favorite teams (auburn being the other). I think Barnhill is cheating, and I'm tired of OU getting to play the championship series on its home field--that is BS.

Barnhill did pitch last night but not any more effective than the others.

You and I seem to dislike the same three teams and their head coaches as well!!

Yes the lefty transfer from Mizzou. She is consistant with those numbers each pitch.

They have 3 pitchers who are lefties and a pretty good looking righter hander as well who was throwing 69 or so!! :thud:

All will be back next year as well!

Kelli hops a lot has two main pitches--rise and fastball/screwball--that she throws in two planes for a strike. OU did a really good job last night of picking one of the planes and waiting for a pitch in that zone. Barnhill needs to add a curve ball and change up but it's gonna be difficult with that wind up she uses.

OU loses one senior. Pretty good odds at a three peat. Patty is doing Geno like things in softball which is way more competitive than women's basketball.

Love 'em, hate 'em or indifferent, OU does get athletes. How does a FR like Nicole Mendez not be in the running for FOY?

I agree shortstop about our abundance of too many slap hitters....They drive me a little nuts, but when they work, it is grand...Just swing the damn bat....

Good to see Fla lose.....All that crow hopping can't be rewarded.....OU is not a favorite, but better than Fla. crow hoppers....

Before the season starts again, the SEC coaches have got to get a handle on this Barnhill babe and her crow hopping pitches....

And there were a lot of big butted girls out there pitching....LOL.

Barnhill needs to be called on her crowhopping. Without her crowhopping she just average
