Don't particularly have a cheering interest, but I'll be for the AFC team if it's Seattle.
I'm guessing Shaun Alexander is some of the reason for that?

Probably, heh.

I just have a hard time putting confidence in teams like Seattle or players like Jake Plummer... you know at any moment in any game they could implode or lay an egg.

Seattle hasn't really done that this year. That's symptomatic of old Seattle teams, but this year feels different.

I will root for Pittsburgh to win. I watched Cedric Wilson in little league football win a championship, then he guided The Melrose Golden Wildcats :dance2: to a high school state championship as a quarterback here in Memphis. He won a national champinship as a WR with UT :dance2: . I hope he wins a Superbowl Ring. How many players can say that they won a championship on all levels? :dunno:

Could be.

Dunno if it'll matter with the way Carolina is playing. Forget the fact they're down to Goings at RB, even though he's pretty good himself, they've still got a little thing we like to call Steve Smith running around out there.

If Carolina avoids falling apart, I'll go with them. To be honest, I'm suprised they made it this far, playing as inconsistent as they have. Picking the NFC Championship is a crapshoot.

i've already posted what i think, but honestly i just hope Carolina OR Pittsburgh is in the thing....if they both make it, even better, but if it's a Denver/Seattle game, i just won't care one damn bit.

the past 3 years in the NFL have been soo good, well, except that NE won the past two SB, but for the third straight year, Carolina and/or Pittsburgh is DEEEEEEEP in the playoffs.....

Very excited about this weekend....what worries me about both teams:

Carolina: Big Road trip...still has to have an affect at some point, despite how well they play on the road. Can the same D that shut down Tikki shut down Sean A.? Peppers is a ? as of now, and we'll need a good effort from the D line to get pressure on Hasselbeck...don't want to get him started. who else will step up beside S. Smith and make the secondary of Seattle honor another threat out wide, Bennet? colbert? Proehl? SOMEBODY!!! as much as i respect Goings, he's 3rd string for a reason....i think he'll have a good game though to be honest.

Steelers: Secondary has to put up another game like last week. it's been a weak spot all year, and last week they all played EXCEPTIONALLY well....can they match the 5 sacks from previous week? I think they will stop the run first and foremost. ON offense...the bus, hope the confidence isn't shaken....W. Parker....need big time production out of him once again, and Big Ben...was last week's start an abberation or will he repeat what happened in last year's AFC champ game? and just as above, 3rd straight road game, you'd think at some point it has to catch up with 'em....and they better have an answer for John Lynch, dude is strong on blitzes, and is a great rover in the secondary.
