Being 2-2 over four seasons doesn’t make them a rival. Someone posted this record and once I stopped laughing I thought it provided great perspective.

32-3 the last 35 meetings with UK.

That’s not a rivalry.

How can UK be irrelevant to Tennessee if every time you lose to Kentucky you fire your coach?

I mean, do you fire your coach every time you lose to Vandy?

Is that a serious question? We are so bad that the only time we lose to Ky is in years we fire our coach. We have to be that down to lose to you losers. Which is why I’ve only seen TN lose to KY 3 times in my life, and only once in Neyland, and I’m 35

Congratulations Cats.
This was definitely a big get by you guys.
Keaten fits that mold of edge defender that UK has had so much success with lately.

Destin is that typical QB/ATH that they love to recruit (Cobb, Bowden, etc...)

You all may pull more players over us moving forward this cycle.
Still like our chances on the field this season against UK...

Kentucky has not beaten a Tennessee team that ranks in the top 100 in total offense since 1984. Our head coach has had a top 5 in scoring offense in the FBS the past 3 seasons, the most recent season they ranked 1st in the FBS

Basically what I’m saying is last year was an absolute fluke, Tennessee has an offensive mastermind head coach, Kentucky can’t beat teams that score in bunches, and will get lit the f*** up by Tennessee this coming season and many many more after.

It's healthy to live in the "now".
Kentucky has some momentum going. I like it! Because ive always liked their colors.

However, what is not "what if" is Tennessee's dominance over Kentucky. 33-3 since 1984. That's factual.
I don't think you missed out on a prime time QB when Gavin Wimsatt went to Rutgers.
Just as we didn't miss out on a QB with Destin. We all know he will dabble at QB before moving to WR there. And he should be a good WR. He's a gamer. Hell of a player.

What I don't understand is why some many Kentucky fans are on here beating their chests as if they have turned the corner against UT. Try beating us back-to-back first. Then 4 in a row. Then 10! Then 27!

Again congrats on the twins. But nothing has changed. Try beating us continually for more than 2 decades. Hell, even one decade.

Sorry if I have been negative but the facts speak for themselves. It's pitiful when we start losing in state players to Kentucky for goodness sakes. Embarrassing.

We lost Randall Cobb to them. He turned into a college All-American that was 0-3 against UT...

Success is relative. They both fit well with what UK does. And we're still going to stomp them this year...

What really matters?

The because Fulmer slow played Cobb in some ways.

My guess is the staff is not doing that here, they are just struggling with recruiting momentum. I just think it's going to take wins after the terrible coaching that we've had to display for several years.

No they're not, not matter what these chrome domed mouth breathers say.

They win a 3 or 4 games in our worst stretch of Tennessee football ever and their balls drop. It's OK. It's just a rougher ride for them when we do get a coach who can turn this around. And it will happen.

Then what? They get owned in both sports and have to stay on their own board and whine to each other.

Read Heupel really made a push for these two and bombed out. When you let 2 middle Tennessee twins that are both ranked 4 stars got to UK when you're the UT coach, you are failing at a key piece of your job. If Heupel can't get this piece done he better pay a high powered recruiter to get in here and help him out.
