I believe the outside perception is that KY has a better football team than Tennessee right now. Everyone I have watched and listened to on youtube, podcasts, and other forms of media believes Kentucky will be better than us this year. They will most likely be favored over us when we play. Hopefully, we win.

UK has taken advantage of the University’s dumb decisions when it comes to hiring coaches that aren’t worth a damn.

Doesn’t mean they’re a better football program than us.

Hopefully Heupel is different.

I never said they had a better football program than us. I said they are projected to have a better team than us this year. Totally different things. But all that matters is the here and now, not the program. So, right now KY is projected to have the upper hand. I agree about Heupel, hopefully, he is finally the guy to make us relevant again.

LoudNoises: As they say, it’s a long time until signing day. Do you know if the staff has stayed in touch with the Wades?

Callahan: I don't know that there has been much contact here in the first 11 days since they announced their decisions. But I do think Tennessee plans to stay in contact with them to some degree, keep the lines of communication open and keep recruiting Keaten Wade and Destin Wade at least a little bit.
As of right now, I wouldn't say there's a great chance of them flipping, just based on what I know about them and how confident they seem to be in their decision at the moment. But things always can change, and I think the Vols are hoping to keep the door open and see what happens in the coming months.

The one thing that the Gump had correct was we should worry about the ones we get, not the ones we don't.

If the Wades want to go to KY then good luck and I hope they lose 4 years in a row to the Big ole Orange.

The NCAA punishment hasn’t been decided as of now. That another strike against us. We likely won’t know until most of these guys have decided for this cycle.

This punishment, plus hiring him 6-8 weeks later than normal are unusual circumstances.

So if he de-commited and called UT to commit we wouldn't take him and his bro? Serious question

He's pretty good, but his brother doesn't really have a position. Eventual WR probably, and all of our commits/targets are better than him. Already have Perry and Herring. I'd rather have Madden and Josephs than him as well. I think we'd have to miss on a few to take them. Earlier this year, no doubt they have spot.
