we could get somebody like WR Roderick Davis from Memphis

He is headed ot Ole Miss. I dont think we are recruiting him anymore. We are going to take a DT (Brimfield or Perry most likely), a S (McNeil, Burnett, Mckenzie), and a RB if that RB is named Creer.

rick are we still on top of creer's list? i haven't heard much about him in a while but i hope we turn up the heat on creer, dunlap, burnette, and mcneil!!! try to end this class with a bang since we have already filled our needs and yeah we'll likely get one of perry or brimfield, preferably perry but if he declines the offer get brimfield

I think we want Brimfield more than Perry. But, I dont think there is much difference in them at this point. Brimfield just has a higher ceiling.

With Creer, I dont know. Its hard to get a read with him. He is all over the board. One day one thing the next day something else. I think we are in good shape with him, but until he makes it public I dont think anybody can get a read with him. Most think its UT vs. Oklahoma unless Texas offers. I doubt they will though.

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised to see us take 2 DTs. I don't think there is a whole lot of other options to fill out the class.

I think we have got alot better shot at Marvin Austin than most people think we do. I won't be a bit surprised if he ends up a VOL.

There are two reasons why I'm even wasting my time with Austin:

1. Rico McCoy
2. Another poster on another board swears up and down he's a Vol.

I give us a slight chance based on those two.

One positive about recruiting Austin is that he is not visiting banquet weekend at FSU, nor is Paul. This year all of the big uncommitted players are coming in the weekend before banquet weekend for some reason. I don't know if that will make a difference though. We will see.
