Survivor: Cagayan

The one thing I loathe about this show, is people voting with their hearts and not their heads. It's a game don't be such a baby when you get voted out.

Edit: this is toward the final jury voting.

My take on the remaining cast members. In order of best played game to the worst. IMO

Tony is guaranteed final 4, going to have to win there to make final 3. If he makes final 3, I can't stand him, but he should win. He's pretty much controlled the whole season. Ran the dominant group, found 3 idols, suprisingly bad in comps. Might get the Russell treatment for screwing everyone over.

Spencer, I like him and he's played a decent game. Saved himself about 15 times it seems like going back to the brain tribe, decent at comps. If he can make final 3 with no Tony, he should win.

Tasha, competition beast, hasn't really made any moves. Seems to be pretty well liked. Should win if no Tony or Spencer.

Woo, I thought he was going to be more impressive than he has been. Likable guy, decent at comps, no moves made, basically just does what Tony says. Would win if it's him, Trish and Kass.

Kass, has made one move that was really just a lateral move as far as improving her position. Thinks she is doing a lot more than she actually is. Terrible at comps.

Trish, she's basically furniture. Has done absolutely nothing but clung to Tonys coat tails.

Sorry I am bored. Lol

If Woo played it right he could convince Tony that he's being voted out and force Tony to give him an idol to save him. This would take at least once idol out of Tony's hands. Agree that he's burned too many bridges though to get the votes.

Agreed, Woo hasn't made any big moves but it looks like in the previews he might on this upcoming episode.

There might even be a complete alliance change coming up which would be cool if it actually happened.

For the most part it usually doesn't affect the game when they do this but Kass pulled it off that one particular night.

I like Woo he seems like an alright guy, he just hasn't done much. The preview looks like he is just agreeing with what they want to do, that doesn't impress me.

My last post was directed toward final voting from the jury.

That's just part of the game. The final tribal council where they ask the top 3 questions really gets people heated up. People start getting real personal with it. You could almost blame the format on it at that point.

I agree it's part of the game, just annoying lol

So Tony has one more elimination to use two idols, one of which is a special idol that can be used after all the names are read?

Correct. I'm guessing he gives the regular idol to Trish next Tribal.

Glad Trish is gone. She was the only one of the remaining players that I didn't like at least a little. This season has been kind of weird for me. There's nobody that I clearly want to win out of the remaining four, but at the same time, there are aspects of each one's game that I have appreciated.

I guess he's to selfish for this.

Watching him trying to do the puzzle was comical, moving a thousand miles a minute getting nowhere

There were a couple times it looked like he had most of the pieces in place and he just kept shuffling them wildly and messing it all up. I don't know what the hell he was doing.

His choice not to give the idol away may or not pay off. He's the only one who knows definitively what makes it different from the other idols, and it seems like he's decided to try and convince everybody that he's still allowed to play it at the next Tribal Council and guarantee himself a spot at the end. It'll just be a matter of whether or not anyone is smart enough to call him on his bluff.

...so i guess tony is keeping the special idol as a trophy. He can't use it in the field of 4. He could have given the woman that got voted of the normal idol and he could have used the special idol. I guess him saying he could beat her at the end was b.s. or he changed his mind about who he wanted there at the last minute or I am missing something.

Glad Trish went
Hope Tony goes next
Will take any of the other 3 as winner but I like Kass the most

WHAT?! Kass should go down in flames! So should Tony.

I'm Spencer all the way. The kid has remained in good character the entire game and has worked hard. The odds are stacked against him though. Woo would be my second choice to win.

I disagree completely. Spencer has been a cocky little douche. He's played a great game though. Tony has played a great game too. I'm rooting for Woo though. Kass sucks, too.

Y'all notice Tony voted Trish? Odd move, wouldn't you say?

No, it was the smart play. She'll be a guaranteed jury vote for him, and those may be in short supply should he get to the final tribal.

Also, anybody else find it strange that they're going into the final episode with four players remaining rather than the usual five? Maybe they're planning on throwing one last curveball and having this be one of the seasons where there are only two players for the jury to choose from.

I think you're confusing desperation and determination with cockiness. I have not seen him be a jerk or deliberately mean. Tony is the epitome of cocky, he quite literally thinks he's the king. I can't stand people on Survivor that act like that. You have to remember Spencer has been on the underdog team since the merge pretty much. He's literally been scrambling to stay in the game since then.

Yes, it was odd but only because of the way they edited the show. Remember they show you what THEY want you to see.

That's the way they've done it for a while. The finale is 2 hours and the first hour they eliminate a contestant and that whittles it down to 3.

If Spencer somehow miraculously makes it into the final 3 I'd bet a LOT of hard cash that he wins it.

I could make an argument for the remaining 3 as to why they might not win.
Kass - Burned her own tribe and voted people out over emotion. Who the hell is she really loyal to other than herself?
Tony - Good player but there is no telling how many people on the jury he's pissed off.
Woo - The only argument I could make against him is that he's going to be viewed as the coattail rider.

I'm with you, Kass is terrible. Tony has at least made for interesting TV.

Spencer is who I hope wins, Woo seems like a good guy but he's basically just been Tonys puppet.

If i went by who deserves it, Tony by a pretty good margin then Spencer then a huge decline to the other 2.

Other than just being on the "lucky" team why does Tony get it over Spencer?

It was funny to watch him scramble like a crazy person.

Woo would probably believe him, Spencer and Kass not so much.

I'm seeing rumors of it going to a final 2 again this year. Anyone else getting that info\vibe?

Well, I haven't done any digging online regarding survivor but it seemed like they were shocked by something in the finale preview for sure.
