Susan Sarandon to leave country...

She's been an outspoken activist (known mostly for opposing the war from the get-go), but never employed by the Democratic Party to my knowledge. She was a big Nader backer until she threw her support to Kerry in '04 to try to defeat Bush.

I agree that nobody really should care about her "ultimatum," but apparently enough people on this board to do build a 4-page thread about it.

She's someone that can be thrown up to bash easily, but it's really not any more newsworthy than Britney Spears' latest haircut.

I think it's just a chance to have some fun with it, no more no less.

you remain lost. Murdoch is not remotely right wing.

I do like your Matrix reference: "hear that Mr. Anderson? That is the sound of........inevitability."

That didn't work out that well for Agent Smith either.
I think it is inevitable that Obama will win unless something absolutely crazy happens that I can't foresee.I'm so sure I will bet you that if Mccain wins I will agree to be banned for 2 years to your one year of bannishment if Obama wins. I doubt you'll take that bet now will you.

I wouldn't bet on any politician for any reason.

I am not a republican, but I will take that bet just so you quit offering it up.
