We'll just agree to disagree. I'd be more agreeable if it were Elijah Herring (or someone else without Hadden's history of knuchleheadedness) making the stand. But Hadden has a history of stupid decisions on the field that are only further highlighted by his poor play and lack of discipline of his actual play in the field.

I’m going to have to side with EasternVol on this. If you watch the whole video, Hadden was trying to help his teammates get away from the gator players. The FLA player came after Hadden and started throwing punches. Hadden was merely defending himself. I agree his antics are often uncalled for, but this was not one of those instances.

I'm fine with that belief and won't rrally argue otherwise. And I'd likely side more with it if we're anyone but Hadden. His history just lends itself to me not rushing to give him the benefit of doubt, unfortunately.

Gimme a break, it was an accident. The only stupid thing wS that godawful call on 4th down. If Milton had gotten the ball snapped they had an easy 1st down. The was 2 Fla players running off the field, Milton has to recognize that and get the ball snapped. But no, it wasn't on purpose.

Anybody know the ref’s name that kicked the ball? That was done intentionally. If it was an accident he would have immediately reset the ball instead of running away. There is no way he didn’t feel the ball hit his foot. Only Florida fans and people that think pro wrestling is real would say it was an accident.

Funnÿ, i had a semi-lucid dream last night where the referees were introduced pregame with a brief bio. So, instead if these anonymous groups of drifting from game to game, we get to know them and the quality of their work. If they are going to make game-impacting calls, then they should be recognizable.

Putting any of this on Heupel is completely misplaced.

Who is in charge of recruiting that has left us with Hadden and Ollie Lame as our best options. Georgias starting tackle went out of the game and they replaced him with a 5 star who top 2 at his position in his class.

You may be right, but I didn't notice because it seemed to me every time FL had a long run #5 was either playing Patty Cake Bakers Man with the ball carrier, or running inside on sweeps giving up his edge. But hey, he's good at pretending to want to fist fight.

I agree. I also believe Heupel is an elite coach and im in no way implying its all on him. I do, however, believe he deserves criticism for what we watched last Saturday.

The refs were terrible, but between the holding calls, false starts, and managing the clock/timeouts......I don't think he had this team ready to play.

I'm not an advocate for throwing Nico to the wolves when our offensive line is playing awful and our receivers aren't playing much better. But Milton just isn't the right guy for this offense imo. He isn't a legit threat to run, he lacks pocket awareness, never looks at the playclock, and I honestly am not a true believer that this team trusts his leadership.

With all that said, I'm willing to believe he's the best we've got at the moment. I think we'll have to ride with him and take our lumps this season.
