Hardesty needs to go back to DB where we recruited him in the first place. He's not gonna see much playing time at RB this year, and we could use him in the secondary.

We did not recruit him at DB. The reason he switched to UT at the last minute was because we really wanted him at RB and convinced him he had a great shot at playing early in the backfield. And, if he had not had a VERY BAD knee injury then he would have. I can guarantee you he has more potential at RB than Foster. He is going to be a great RB when he gets back to 100%.

I'm not denying he'll have a better season that Foster. I'm pretty sure he will, but I don't see him taking the starting job from Coker any time soon, even if he is 100% healthy.

i think coker may have something to say about this...that is if fulmer plays him. I know this playing your leading rusher thing is a crazy concept...

Houston and Riggs. I mean...........Coker and Foster.

You could say Coker and Hardesty, or Coker and Creer, or Creer and Foster, or Hardesty and Foster, or Hardesty and Creer, and right now, I'd buy it. :)

I wouldn't say that. Watch punt coverage. He is always one of the first 2 or 3 to the returner. Sucks that he hasn't been a bigger factor, but he does more than some have.

williams seems to have been a bit of a dissapointment. am i the only guy whos slightly dissapointed in hardesty too? the coaches talked alot about him and besides the cal game and a few other games earlier this year he didnt really wow me. he had a decent year, i just expect too much i guess. plus the fact that ive loved coker since hes been in high school might make me biased?

No it seems like Hardesty jukes himself out sometimes instead of getting upfield.

Hardesty does juke too much, but you must be a little naive if you think a RS freshman is gonna look all conference in the SEC.

its naive to think hardesty would yes. but coker on the other hand...if he doesnt get injured for a couple of games and we get him the ball more, he would of had a chance at it. cant believe we didnt give him any carries in the florida game. the one ball we did give him he scored on.

That is true, but he was uncontested. I don't think any RBs would have did much last year because of our horrible OL. This year should be much better.
