Swiperboy is going to be a beast next year

You're "glad"? You realize that he's on scholarship and that UT is assuming you work your arse off because they're paying for your education. Him working out is simply minimum requirements.

He obviously works out with the team too. He's doing work on his own while at home to get better. Some people only do the minimum requirments in the corporate world too, then some put in EXTRA work to become the best they can be.

Seems to me as though he's trying to get into that best group.

I just hope he realizes we need him to be a slasher, instead of being planted on the arc, and works on his handles

Most elite programs have almost all of their guys on campus during the summer and those who aren't are playing for some Team USA or an equivalent. Don't act like Woolridge running his mouth about "working at home" is anything special.

You guys blow as fans. Making fun of our players for striving to be great? What are they supposed to do?

I was a bit harsh on blaker, but the point stands. Don't tell me you are working hard at home, show up and prove what that work has accomplished.

I've lost faith in 90% of UT's "fans and supporters". We have a guy talking about dedicating his summer to getting better for the sake of his team and you guys think it's funny........

But, I could be taking this the wrong way. It's just the last time I check LULZ was the same thing as LOL? Don't see whats so hard about typing **** out...

what a saint

I was expecting something completely different when I clicked on this thread. I thought there would be a lot more bashing. Thank you to the posters who set the tone early in trying to prevent a bunch of trash talk. Everyone is free to think and say what they want but he takes more abuse than Mini-Bruce and McBee. I understand it's because he was a four start player but still... Tennessee doesn't beat Kansas without him. I don't think playing the four has done him any favors either. He is really lanky. Would be better at the 3. Hopefully he catches fire and reverts back to the Kansas game. Would be awesome.

If he has any prayer of seeing the floor, it will be at the 4. If the kid would improve his handles any, he could be matchup problem at the 4; however, he has improved exactly none since arriving on campus. Hopefully, he'll be much better next season.

They should let him do what Tyler did, instead of trying to force him to be a post player.

Good for him. If Dan Williams had tweeted after his Sophomore year that he was "going to be a beast", more folks would have laughed and ridiculed him than are in this thread positive and negative combined.

Jon Crompton, Montario Hardesty, Jajuan Smith, CJ Watson, Wayne Chism, JP Prince, and Brian Williams are guys who have worn the Orange who have also been at points in their careers where they were shadows of the players they are now.

Woolridge is a rising Junior. We'd have national championship trophies falling out of our pockets if all our Juniors were beasts as freshmen and sophomores.

Do it on the court.

Talk is cheap. Twitter talk is even cheaper.
