Anyone else keeping an eye on this? Obviously Syracuse should roll, but the Hoyas are giving the effort in the early going.

Georgetown has taken a small lead of 12-11, as Syracuse's shooting has cooled.

In some ways, I think Georgetown would be a tougher match up offensively than Syracuse for Tennessee. Although Syracuse's zone would probably kill UT anyway.

The three is back for Syracuse. Georgetown is still hanging with a good inside game. 21-19 Hoyas.

Just turned this one on. It's 21-19 Syracuse. Does this game really matter for them? It seems most think they have locked up a one seed.

Maybe, maybe not. I guess it depends on what the other 1 seed-type teams do. Given that the East regional is in Syracuse, they probably want to be the best 1 they can be, and see if they can play at home.

I'd say Cuse winning this tournament and Kansas losing in the BXII tourney could get the Orange the #1 overall.

every time that I think Georgetown is in trouble and about to fall out of this thing, they surge back into it.

Georgetown has scrapped their way to being up 64-59 with 9 minutes to go. Been a great game. God, I love March.

Both teams are shooting over 50 %. The game is getting a little frantic though.

Georgetown is pacing Syracuse 72-63 with 5:50 to go. Syracuse could come back in a heartbeat with the 3, though.

Syracuse's Onuaku went down with a knee injury. He's in a lot of pain. Looks like they are checking for movement from a torn ligament.

Is it just me, or has the officiating gotten a lot tighter in the last couple minutes?

Like I kind of was getting at before, I think our perimeter defense and length could bother their outside shooting, which is their strength.

Their defense didn't look so great today, either.
