They're not very impressive this year. I'm still shocked that Louisville hasn't been better this year.

Depends on what you mean by over-rated. What conferences do you think are superior?

Not that they aren't a great league...they are. I think the Big 12 is better personally. I just think the Big East has a lot of good teams...the only legit Top 10 team in the conference is 'Cuse imo.

So you are saying they are one of the top 2 conferences in the country? Then I fail to see the controversy of considering them a tough conference.

They are incredibly difficult. He's right, only one team I'd say is your best bet for a Final Four, but how many other teams are there like that? Kentucky? Kansas? Anybody else?

I think the Big XII is the toughest conference in the country as it is more difficult top to bottom. Nobody that really sucks, a huge percentage of it is going to make the field.

But the Big East has more "elite" teams this year between Nova, Cuse, GTown, WVU, etc. and a bunch of pretty good teams in the middle. But that's just by volume, which is what happens when your conference encompasses like 1/4 of Division I.

I just think that WVU, Nova, and Pitt are good teams simply put. I wouldn't rank the conference any better than the SEC if they didn't have 16 teams. I really don't think more than 1 Big East team will make it to the elite 8.
