No there is a whole new SOFA with Iraq. The new SOFA states the number of U.S. troops in Iraq can not be more than 5,000 And the original SOFA was signed by President Bush and not Obama.

Again with the false choice. It wasn't one or the other. You have to know that and yet you defend this abrupt withdraw that is REALLY damaging to US. National Security, at many levels, because you won't admit what even a lot of GOPers are admitting.

It is now on Turkey and Russia to contain ISIS, let their soldiers take them on.

Who cares? Nobody "trusted" us over there before, if they did we wouldn't have a need to have soldiers there.

I do not like the way the Kurds have been treated by us. We have treated them like crap since the 90's but I'm tired of being the worlds policeman and spending American lives in endless conflict.

Trump should have consulted his experts. What you see now is Putin and Erdogan making choices on the Kurds future. Neither of them has any claim to their land. And where is Trump on these negotiations? Where are our troops?

Well, our troops are hiding in some corner of Syria guarding oil wells... for who?
