The agreement we signed with Iraq only allows so many troops in the country. CENTCOM knows this and DoD knows this. Hell congress knows this.
The Status of Forces agreement W signed in 2008 which Obama was then blamed for respecting by Republicans, that agreement?
Yeah, some of us civilians recall that one too.
So what is the democrats plan? Send more Americans over to the middle east to get limbs blown off?
Again with the false choice. It wasn't one or the other. You have to know that and yet you defend this abrupt withdraw that is REALLY damaging to US. National Security, at many levels, because you won't admit what even a lot of GOPers are admitting.
This was a huge mistake in judgment by Trump. Maybe the worst military decision in 50 years
No US soldiers were killed with this decision.
The invasion of Iraq and the toppling of Qaddafi were two of the worst military decisions over the past 50 years. This one doesn't even register.

1) ISIS likely to surge and gain back territory, expand their influence.
2) No one will trust us there, ever again.
3) Trump did this on influence by Putin. Putin has more input into US foreign policy under Trump than any US official.
Trump says is just sand and death. I suppose the Kurds should have offered to build a tall building with his name on it, so he could do his marketing magic.
I do not like the way the Kurds have been treated by us. We have treated them like crap since the 90's but I'm tired of being the worlds policeman and spending American lives in endless conflict.
