Tabb suspended for 1st half

That's because Tennessee appealed it.

Why wouldn't they appeal the best player on their team and his positive test results?? Was he ever vindicated or was it really a positive test and he played even though he failed it?? I wouldn't put it past Tabb to have been caught and Pearl him suspended for a half. Remember, it's the coaches call on a suspension.

I'm about 99% sure that Tabb's suspension wasn't drug related. If it was, his reason for failing would be very different from Lofton's.

You just said he would miss more than a half if it was a failed test. Now it depends on an appeal?

And it was not a positive for drugs....it was simply a abnormality

Feel free to google "chris lofton failed drug test"

I have no idea about Tabb's situation, but saying that a failed random would mean an automatic NCAA suspension isn't true.

There's no way that Tabb would have been suspended for a half. He would have either played the entire game, or he would have missed until he submitted another test.

I stand corrected. Talked to my source again and he said that Tabb failed a drug test while still on campus the Monday before the team left. It was not an NCAA administered test but one done by the university.

Are you suggesting Tabb has testicular cancer?

Not at all. And I don't even know if Tabb failed a drug test.

But I do know that Lofton failed a drug test before an NCAA game and he played. And at the time they didn't know anything other than he failed the test. Follow-up tests later uncovered the true source.
