Who else is going down next weekend? We normally tailgate in the parking lot beside McDonalds and there seems to be lots of UT fans there each time. If you’re going, what are your plans for Friday night and the tailgate on Saturday? Go VOLS!

It’s close to a bank, but I can’t remember off the top of my head to be exact. We have always parked there and never had any issues.

I've been there several times and I won't go back...I almost get into a fight everytime because of some big mouthed UF fans...I'm getting older now and don't need the drama so i'll watch in comfort from home but I hope all that are going have a great time and get really freaking loud!!

I typically park on Museum Rd by Lake Alice and then go to the frat parties in my overalls and all! Granted, I'm with some Gator fan buddies of mine, but I've never had a problem with anyone at the game. Did have one guy acting a fool at a bar the night before once, but the bartender kicked him out quite quickly.

Same here, they are garbage fans, makes Neyland look like a night at the opera. And if your vehicle has any UT insignia it will have crap all over it when you come out. Might be better this year now that they suck.

Think the OP mentioned it, but usually there’s a good number of UT fans tailgating at the McDonalds near the intersection of University and 13th Street.

UF cracked down on parking on campus in recent years, so real estate for tailgating on campus is at a premium.

Lake Alice is a good spot to set up also.

Nothing to add over LW. I actually haven't been to a game in about five years, but am going to this one. Unfortunately, all my travels up there usually involve people that can't go until just a few hours before game time so I have not done a true tailgate in many years.

For all those going, I hope you have a good time and in my experience UF fans (like most fans) treat the opposing fans with respect and well wishes. There are always exceptions for the drunks, but just avoid confrontations with them, ignore them and since they are looking to get a rise out of you they'll move on.

Weather should be excellent for this time of year, which is rare!
