Tailgating at the Swamp

Think the OP mentioned it, but usually there’s a good number of UT fans tailgating at the McDonalds near the intersection of University and 13th Street.

UF cracked down on parking on campus in recent years, so real estate for tailgating on campus is at a premium.

Lake Alice is a good spot to set up also.

It’s just off campus, east of the NW 13th Street-University Blvd intersection.

It used to be a couple blocks north of that intersection across from Krispy Kreme, but they moved to accommodate a heaping helping of condo$, apartment complexe$, and a new Publix.

I will be parking by Lake Alice off Museum Rd close to Frat Row tomorrow....hopefully. I plan on getting there around noon.

I make friends easy and i have a few Floriduh fans in tow, so I've always enjoyed parking there and finding a tailgate. Has never failed me. There won't be as many Vol fans as there will be over by the McDonald's though.

We live in Clearwater now and going up for the first away SEC game! Anybody know if there is somewhere you can catch the team heading in the stadium to cheer the team on as they head in?
