One has absolutely nothing to do with the other. Most fans and pretty much every single player wants them. That is why there are alternate unis.

Seriously doubt that. With several 24/7 sports networks, pretty much every game being televised, and the internet/social media, it's only going to grow.

Me neither. That looks pretty sharp. I liked the white hats with the gray unis last year though. I liked the contrast.

Anyway does that helmet help with any of the traditionalists fears of change? At least it is still an orange T on a white background. Still very recognizable. Does that help at all? probably not?

I'd prefer the helmet was all grey. I don't care for the white but otherwise, cool helmet.

Think about the helmet in application to the rest of the uniform:

I think it works, to be honest. White is a tertiary color in that uniform overall and I think the helmet kinda stood out.

This still retains the old and iconic look of Tennessee's helmet while allowing for a better transition to the grey uniforms.

Saw this online..I think I like what the author is doing. Its a bit old school leather helmet mixed with some ancient Pegasus wings and nice roman-esque crest on top. :birgits_giggle:
