Tam V.S. Arky

Mulled the idea of adopting Arky as a third team for like five minutes and then NOPE because I can't even handle that level of pain.

Arky is one of those teams that plays very loose. It can win games your not supposed to but it also means you make a lot of mistakes.

Arkansas is about the only other team in the SEC I don't loathe. I was rooting for them and I hate that they lost like that. Screw A&M. I thought an Arky win would make the west a bit more interesting too.

Arkansas is light years ahead of where they were this time last year .. but they aren't there yet. Correcting little things like eliminating silly penalties and doing the easy stuff right and this could have easily went the other way in regulation. We certainly aren't built for overtime at the moment.

Coming into this season most Arkansas fans were expecting 4 or 5 wins based on this schedule. If Arkansas keeps improving like they have, I wouldn't be surprised if they got to 6 or better.. barring injury.

Between stomping and tripping, Ark must be coached to play dirty...

Stomping? You mean Miss St?

No one at Arkansas is coached to play dirty. Our coaching staff doesnt really put up with thugs. As a matter of fact, I think Arkansas was one of the only, if not THE only, SEC team in the offseason to keep it's players out of the head lines.

watched it with my former neighbors, 6-7 folks all die hard Razorbacks, and it was crushing
especially 2 penalties on the same O-lineman, that had touchdowns called back

then the fumbled snap, late in the 4th qtr, when a first down would have sealed the deal

Yup.. Dan Skipper is a big aggressive lineman. Today he got a little too aggressive. Im sure he'll hear all about it.. especially since his penalties were a major reason why this game was lost.

I'm not gloating as I thought this would be the toughest obstacle, considering the rushing attack and physical nature of play from Arkansas, on our schedule. That's was one hell of a game and I kind of take exception on the "choke job by Arkansas" mind set. The fourth quarter, our Defense woke up finally, and Kenny brought us back in it. When it went to OT, I chalked that up as a Win for us. We did not get lucky & they did not choke. We won the game.

I wish the Hogs well from here out.

Choke may be a bit strong but they were driving nicely but the fumbled snap killed the momentum on that drive, and then they missed the FG. They had a chance to at least put way more pressure on A&M to score 10 points instead of just tying it up.

I'd say the 2 penalties, that called back TD's was the game changer, and the DB that fell down to give a wide open receiver an easy pitch and catch for a TD
