Tamari Key Gets Triple Double

Remember when certain posters were actually going along with Tamari not being on the all-defensive team “just because she led the league in blocks”

if she isn’t one of the top defensive players i don’t know who is. she not only blocks shots but alters plays by just being on the court 👀

Long time coming and boom! I guess I thought she'd gradually get better but I'm sure not complaining. Today wasn't isolated either, she's been solid for four or five games.

My very fave play was when she not only rejected the shot, but then dove, fully extended, out of bounds and saved the ball successfully to a teammate. I coulda cried!

Cannot not mention Kasi. Hard, hard worker, such an inspiring player. What she has to give may be limited, but by God she gives it all. Leading a fast break! Making assists! A real contributor. Good for her, good for us!

Who jumped into her arms (or on her back) right after the final buzzer? Was that Destiny?
Yes it was. Latest twist on injury-risking celebrations. By the way, I didn't see any head slapping today. Maybe Jordan wasn't feeling up to it.

Seriously, it seemed like everyone was really thrilled for Tamari. So good to see. She sure is low Key, very humble.

Today's game was the Tamari Key show. She has quickly evolved into one of the most dominant post players in LadyVol history. Her potential is enormous.

That was a PLAY. She also got some offensive rebounds that she normally would not have. Very quick and aggressive to the boards and a little more vertical in her game than she has shown in the past.

I think Kasi had one of her best all round games as LV today. She showed some surprising offensive skills (including some excellent passes from the top of the key (to Key).
