By the way, I had to LOL at this post:

this makes at least one caller and the hosts of SA sound really stupid... the day after the arrests, a "former FBI agent, current Private Investigator" called in offering expert analysis and said that all four would fail drug tests for at least 30 days just for being in the car inhaling smoke, etc.; the SA guys readily agreed...

This. Or walmart for some Suregel, they use it to make jam but it also clogs up your kidneys and bladder for a few hours so you only pee what you drink after drinking the powder. I "heard" lemon gatorade and water look the best for the color and what not.

something tells me that these drug tests were administered before there was any opportunity to seek out some makeshift remedy

From being in the military, We were told that you cannot inhale the THC from someone else's exhaled smoke. It has already been absorbed by their body. That guy was stupid. The only way you can get thc in your body is by consuming it in some form, be it liquid, firsthand inhalation of smoke, pill, food, or others.

If they were administered after the arrests I would agree.

But if they had any thought that they were going to be drug test, or had any heads up.... All they would have had to do was go to the store and buy a drink, there are several on the market that work immediately, and they would pass.

I would be interested to know when they were tested. If they have been smoking all year, then they undoubtedly already had one of the drinks purchased and ready to go just in case.

You have to have depth to compete later in conference. A lot of things went right the other night. If the two played again, I would imagine it would turn out differently.

Don't get me wrong....not trying to rain on the parade, it was a great win.

It probably was a weed scented air freshner the cop smelled, and yes it was Glade.

tell me if i'm wrong about this: haven't they pretty much stopped the pee tests in favor of the hair samples?

Im under the impression that they still use urine testing. Hair follicle testing is fairly expensive, not sure what the NCAA mandate is....I would guess urine.
