Tatum most disapointing player of the season

I agree that he is disappointing. Dude drives me nuts. Both his FG% and 3pt % have dropped by about .090 this year. Also his worst season as far as turnovers.

I gotta say, you are freakin relentless with your obsession with fg%. I literally lol'd at that post.

Cam is capable of giving the Vols that "third gear" in terms of basketball style. He usually uses the three-point shot to accelerate our momentum and pull away from the opposition. He did that in the past, but he has not done that at all this season. I won't go as far as to say that he sucks or he is pathetic, but he has, in fact, really disappointed me. Cam is a much better player than this.

Posted this on another thread but ill repost it here.

i just looked up Tatum's stats. they are kind of interesting. He is averaging 9.4 points per game. In his last 10 games, he has scored in double digits 5 times. In the last 5 games he has scored in double digits once. Its like he does everything in spurts. He will have spurts of double digit games then spurts of single digit. After looking at this, i am more inclined to think he suffers slumps and doesnt necessarily need to be benched or is "the biggest disappointment". also that may be why Bruce isnt saying anything about his play.

His spurts and inconsistencies probably have a lot to do with his off court activities.

Bone should be seeing the floor a lot more.

I am dissappointed with Tatum's progression this year. I thought he would be a more reliable player for us. Maybe he can get it going here at the end of the season.
